Hi guys, i just measured the width between my 2 main gate pillars - its less than 13 feet, from one gate hook to the other - 12' 10" to be exact.
I heard the standard size is 14' - is this going to be a problem??? *worried*  Any advice is appreciated. |

am not sure there is such a thing as standard gate width, as long as it is wide enuf for ur car to get in and out then shd be alright, but of course bigger = better...

haha thanks. yes car can get in and out no problem...
what kind of gate is the cheapest? |

eh got standard width lah... normal is 10', 12' 14' n so on.....

of course! got also 11'8", 12'8", 13'6", 13'8", 14'2", 14'6", 14'8", 15', 15'6", 15'8", 16'2", 16'6", 16'8", 17', 17'2", 17'6", 17'8"... i can continue u know...

regular mild steel gate is the cheapest, then wrought iron and stainless steel are probably the most expensive...

regular mild steel gate is the cheapest, then wrought iron and stainless steel are probably the most expensive... |
oh guess i'll avoid wrought iron then... mild steel gate need to paint one right? |

| usually smaller gate if let say got 1 car then should not be any problem but if got 2 cars park side my side then the small gate might pose an issue. |
