Hi guys... how many of you have done zinc / aluminium water proofing?

Is this really necessary - i'm trying to weigh the costs vs benefits?

If i don't install it, and just use new roof tiles - will it be okay? dead

it is good practice to hav a layer of zinc sheet underneath the roof tiles not just for security but the most important it to prevent leakage...
